We had great attendance, in part because we had a number of artists from the Midcoast Bookarts group.

Business

There was a review of upcoming shows that members may apply to, including Bodies in Motion at Zoot (April), and It’s the Small Things… at the Camden Library (May 4–28).

We discussed the UMVA website. People were encouraged to build their Artist Page if they haven’t yet.

Midcoast Maine Bookarts Group

Introduction: Some history was shared. The Midcoast Maine Book Artists have been meeting together for about four years. They meet every other month. They meet in-person in the summer and on Zoom in the winter. They are currently searching for a new summer location that will allow people to work on projects. Sandy Weisman is the list keeper. They put on four shows a year. They also have field trips. They are working on their website midcoastmainebookarts.org. They also have a Facebook page.

Book artists then shared their work. It was really impressive. There was a wide variety of work and all of very high quality.
