Nora Tryon is a visual artist with a strong sense of purpose. Interconnection, collaboration and community are the foundations of her work. She is an active long-time member of the Union of Maine Visual Artists, and co-founder and participating artist/editor of the UMVA projects: ARRT!, (Artists’ Rapid Response Team), Maine Arts Journal: Union of Maine Visual Artists Quarterly, and LumenARRT! which creates large scale public projections on progressive issues. Her work includes a variety of media and has been displayed in galleries, museums, events, installations and touring exhibitions.
