My families’ roots come from the Northeast of America where I was born. I was brought west to California, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. After studying art and languages at the University of California at Santa Cruz and graduating from UC Berkeley I spent some time working in Saudi Arabia, then followed a three-year program in Graphic Design study in Germany. Living and working in Germany, NYC, London, Calfornia, Amsterdam and Maine have kept me busy raising kids, teaching graphics and painting and increasing my knowledge of painting in studios and courses in all these places. I am now back in Maine to stay and focus, for the moment, on the rocks that inspire me here. Please enjoy my artwork, there will be more and different inspirations added as I make them.
