I have been painting for over 20 years. Whether at home in Portland or at my summer refuge in Brooksville, Maine, surrounded by beauty, family and friends, I paint away everyday concerns. I desire to create reflections of things I love (food) and what feels constant (air, water, sky). I try to take these idyllic elements of home, and Maine, to a place of my own keeping. The changing colors, forms and textures of New England continue to inspire me to instill every painting with a sense of season and place; which I hope my work communicates.
