I am a semi-retired, visual journalist, who worked for major publications in the U.S. (National Geographic and The Washington Post among the most well-known). Though my career interest was in photojournalism and graphic design, I have always drawn and painted. Having moved to Maine recently, I am now more aggressively exploring painting, primarily plein aire gauche and studio oils. In these first years I’ve been naturally attracted to the landscape and changing atmospherics of the area. I and my wife live along the Eastern River in Dresden.
