Artists Rapid Response Team! (ARRT!)

ARRT! is a project of the Union of Maine Visual Artists (UMVA)

ARRT! (Artists’ Rapid Response Team) is a group of artists who meet monthly in Bowdoinham to make banners and props in partnership with progressive Maine non-profits. ARRT! provides images that can help to distill and clarify their important messages about issues that matter to people in Maine and the world beyond our borders. ARRT! has created over 600 banners for over 150 organizations, including Maine People’s Alliance, 350.org, Maine AllCare, NAACP, and the Wabanaki Alliance.

Collaboration is the driving force behind ARRT! Join us!

Come work with ARRT!

ARRT! invites UMVA member artists, community members and progressive organizations to join us. We work with groups to define and design images that will help communicate their message. After discussions, research and often much collaboration we gather together for painting sessions to put brush to canvas. You may contact us for details or go to our arrteam.org website or ARRT! Facebook page.
